Dividing Duties Among Your Team
One of the best ways to lower a practice's risk of being embezzled is to divide the duties of handling funds and recording payments between members of your team. There are dozens of articles in dental literature encouraging dentists to create a division of duties.
However, most of these articles are lacking in specifics about which duties to allocate and to whom.
We have assembled a breathtakingly simple and practical set of rules that should allow any practice owner to achieve a proper allocation of tasks. Click the link below to see the rules.

The View from the CEO's Chair
We have lots of great things happening at Prosperident. So far, it's been the busiest six months we have ever had, which is probably a tacit comment on the amount of embezzlement that is happening in dental practices. To help us with that volume, we have hired several new fraud examiners and I'll take this opportunity to welcome Brittany Coiro, Courtney Staiger and Alyssa Kimmins to our great investigative team.
In the meantime, our administrative group run by COO Kathy Kirkby and Operations Manager Hailey Irvine have been doing lots of behind the scenes work to streamline our processes to make sure that we can handle the needs of our clients in a timely way.
We have launched a new product, our SOFIA data-based problem solving, which is a great complement to our investigative and proactive services, and we have a few other exciting announcements coming in the next few months.
I hope you are enjoying your summer, and if you have some quiet time and want to discuss how to protect and optimize your practice, I'd love to speak with you. Click HERE to set up a time for us to chat.
Yours truly,

David Harris
