Webinar May 18 - What Happens in Vegas ... Ends in Prison.
You will not want to miss our next webinar. Las Vegas dentist Dr. Deborha Staten and Prosperident's Scott Clifford outline how embezzler Danielle Powers stole over $250K from Dr. Staten, and the lessons that Dr. Staten learned from this event.
It's a gripping story of trust and betrayal. You can register at no cost HERE.

It's not just cash!
Since many dentists believe that cash is the only thing a thief could steal, logically, this gradual disappearance of cash from our lives should result in less stealing.
And yet studies show that the opposite is true.
Parallel studies conducted by the American Dental Association in 2007 and 2019 reveal that in that 12-year period, the frequency of embezzlement increased by about a third, with 47% of dentists reporting in 2019 that they had been embezzled at some point in their careers, up from 35% who reported this in 2007.
Those of you who know us realize that our team is spread out across the continent. Our head office is in the seaside city of Halifax, Canada and our investigators live all over the US.
Normally we all meet in person every two years. COVID derailed our last meeting, and I am so excited about our next Summit taking place at the end of June. Our entire team of 20+ people will meet in person in Halifax.
We have some great outside speakers from prosecution and law enforcement and are particularly excited to have dental speaking and communications coach Katherine Eitel-Belt who will be talking to us about Courageous Communications.
Our busy agenda will also allow the best dental crimefighters on the planet to interact and learn from each other. Our most senior investigators, many of whom have celebrated a decade or more with us, often have developed a unique skillset in a specific area of dentistry (e.g., orthodontics) or a specific problem (such as theft in group practices) and our Summit allows these subject matter experts to share their vast knowledge.
What's in this for you? It's simple. Whether you have embezzlement concerns and need an investigation, or want help with putting the systems in place that will lower your risk of being a victim, you want the best team helping you. An unrelenting commitment to being the best is not a Prosperident marketing slogan; it defines who we are.
